What are the rates of your services?
Fence prices vary primarily based on the following criteria:
1. Length of fence
2. Height of fence
3. Number of gates
4. Style of fence (picket, privacy, board-over-board, shadow box, etc.)
Other things to consider when requesting a quote:
A. Prep work required – the more prep work required, the higher the cost
B. Vegetation – Wandering fences through trees and bushes add time to the process and could increase costs
Are you licensed and insured?
Shaker Fence Co is a registered, licensed, insured, and bonded general contractor. We meet the local requirements for fence building in any city.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We pride ourselves with providing quick quotes within a week of your inquiry.
How soon can you install my fence?
Installation time-frames depend on the type of fence being installed as well as the time of season purchased. Projects requiring permits typically up to 5 weeks to be ready for install. Projects not requiring permits can be started as soon as 2-4 weeks.
We will always be transparent about expected start dates.
How long will my fence installation take?
Most fence installations will be completed over the course of a week, consisting of 2-3 working days. These are usually non-consecutive working days to allow time for cement to cure. Some exceptions to this would be custom size gates that will be ordered after the gate posts are installed and could extend the completion of your project by 2-3 weeks (temporary gates are available upon request during this period). Weather is also a factor to consider as some elements of the installation process require good weather.
Do you know where my property lines are?
You can refer to your mortgage survey or any other property survey for details on the exact location of your property line. If you do not have either of these documents, one may be available through your mortgage company, local building department, or builder. If you do not have access to a property survey, we can refer you to a surveyor that works with our customers. This service typically costs between $900 – $1500, so we’ll do our best to avoid that option if possible. We will place your fence where instructed. If you provide a property survey to us, we will use that to determine the fence location along with your instruction/designation. We do not, however, reveal property markers during the installation unless a property survey is ordered through a license provider.
